AmeriPlan® began in 1992 when twin brothers Dennis and Daniel Bloom teamed up to create what would become the best consumer driven health discount plans.

Originally set-up as a dental discount plan, AmeriPlan® soon expanded to offer discounts of prescription drugs, vision care, and chiropractic services, without any additional cost to the membership plan. Dennis and Daniel had created an affordable discount plan that could be used alone or in conjunction with many insurance plans, to get their members' dental and medical fees lower than ever before. The brothers soon set out to spread the word about their efficient and cost effective discount plans.

Dennis and Daniel quickly realized that the best marketing tool is personal referrals and word of mouth. With this in mind they developed a marketing strategy that included Independent Business Owners (IBO). Through this marketing system each IBO helps spread the word about the AmeriPlan® services through personal testimonies.

Now AmeriPlan® offers even more than ever before, with an expanding medical package which includes physicians, labs, imaging centers and a full array of medical services.

AmeriPlan® is now the nation’s largest fee-for-service discount provider, and a $10 million debt free company. We will continue to offer new discount programs to take us into the new millennium as we grow to become a $1 billion corporation.
