Q. What is AmeriPlan® Dental / Health?
A. AmeriPlan® Dental / Health is a Discount Medical Plan Organization that offers memberships in its discount plans. Members can save up to 65% on all restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns braces, etc.) and up to 80% on preventative work performed by a general dentist.
Since the plans are not insurance or a health care organization, most on going problems are accepted. You receive immediate savings, no paperwork to fill out and no limits on visits.
Q. How do I pay my Membership Fee?
A. Monthly or quarterly payments are made ONLY by electronic bank draft or by credit card. Invoicing is done only for annual membership paid one year in advance. Individual membership is $14.95 per month and household membership is $19.95 per month for the Dental Plus and Health plans start as little as $29.95 per month. Household membership includes all residents in the household, including children, parents, relatives and others.
Q. Who are the Providers?
A. AmeriPlan® has assembled one of the largest networks of providers in the nation, and we are continually adding to this base. These providers are well established, with successful practices. Our prescription card may be used at our participating pharmacies nationwide, as well as through mail order. The vision care benefits are available nationwide at more than 12,000 providers and our chiropractic benefits may be used with 1000s of our credentialed chiropractors.
Q. How do I use the Plan?
A. As soon as you have your member number you may begin using the Dental portion of the plan. Within 10-14 working days of receipt of your application you will receive a Member Agreement, Information Guide and Membership Identification Cards. At this time you may use any of your AmeriPlan® benefits and be eligible to receive the discounted fees. You pay the provider at the time of service.
Q. Can I sell the AmeriPlan® benefits?
A. Certainly! Anyone 18 or older can become an Independent Business Owner with AmeriPlan®. Just go to http://www.iboplus.com/MMS and you can learn how to start making money with AmeriPlan®.
